ATI Removed....HELP....Problem....
ATI Removed....HELP....Problem....
Hello
I had my ATI removed from my truck, 42 lb injectors, 90 mm MAF, ATI Fuel Pump, Chip.............and all stock parts put back on.
When the truck is started it runs VERY rough....kind of like a bad cylinder (which it doesn't have because it drove fine a minutes before the kit was removed).
Does anyone have any idea what may cause this? Bad stock injector? PCM issue....does it need to be re-programmed? Any ideas? Argh

The chip is out. Once the chip is removed, does anything need to be done?
No gas leaking and plugs seem ok.
Damn...this sucks. What else could do this? Runs like crap.

KeithG,
Maybe you have a bad coil? Did anything get banged around when you removed the ATI? Have you reset the PCU? Check the fuses and connections. (like the camshaft sensor on the front where the ATI braket was, Vaccum leaks can of starter fluid, the MAF etc..) Are you throwing any codes?
Bill

Thank you for replying..............I think we figured it out. One of the injectors in the back (by the firewall) was not seated correctly. Removed it and reinstalled it and the truck is running normally.
I thought so too, but it must have been off just enough to not get the proper amount of fuel to the cylinder.
