Thumbs up New High Flow Aftermarket Intake Manifolds

HI!... I just came across this site. They offer a ton of custom machined aluminum products for the 4.6 and some soon to be 5.4 stuff. Check out the awesome hand build aluminum intake manifold. They got a 55H.P increase over the stock BULLIT intake manifold. I know some of you are building new engines and thought you guys would be interested in this intake. They also make custom pulleys and belt tensioners.

Wow! Nice looking pieces. Grind the welds and polish or chrome plate and it would be even better looking. 55HP is none too shabby either! I would like to see the 5.4 ones when they are ready.

The website has the write up on the intake. That 55 HP gain appears to be on a non-stock and supercharged engine. I wonder what it would actually do for an engine fresh off the showroom floor?

Also the dyno graph doesnt show the low rpms hp and tq, it only shows the higher rpms, and from the little bit yo ucan see, the bullitt intake was making more hp/tq in the low revs.

Cool

HI!.. YA but if you look at the dyno chart the new intake is making more power above 3500rpm. Well I think I can safely say that by the time a MUSTANG owner decides to purchase this intake manifold that they have done other considerable mods to their vehicle. A manual vehicle, this power loss under 3500RPM compared to the BULLIT intake means nothing and owners with a AUTO most likely by this time have a higher stall converter installed. If not their dumb to spend this kind of cash ($1400(U.S) for a intake manifold and install it on a stock 4.6. JMHO.

Cool

Yep it is very nicve and I am sure it will do everything claimed but I don't want to deal with cruise control and throttle brackets not to mention all the emissions issues with the computer. I am just going to be happy with this little piece.

Besides, if I need 55 HP I just add a little NOS or raise my engine rpm or both!
