Current 2-2 Drop want 2 more out back

Hey guys,

If I waned to increase my rear drop from 2" shackle to 4" total or so what is involved. Obviously leafs and that is the way I'm going to go. Belltech makes leafs, how is their quality? My main concern is the driveshaft. Since I already have the GF pinion shims am I good or in more involved? I have the 2 piece drive shaft with sealed u joints

Told you a year ago to drop more out back

Sell the shackles. And go either 3 or 4" leafs. BT makes a good leaf spring. And yes you will need a CB relocator kit as well.

Haha I knew I wanted more just wasn't cost effective Well I think I may save for a new driveshaft and do the conversion to 1 piece that others have done so I get all the fittings and higher rated for when I eventually add boost. I think I have u joints that are on there way out

I beleive they are 10% stiffer spring rate, sportier but not harsh.

You'll need appropriate length shocks out back, and you can get stronger shocks that compliment the slightly stiffer leaf springs

Thanks Pat, I'm probably just gonna live with it now, there's just way too much that I'd have to do and with new shocks on the rear, it's a waste. Just gonna put it on the burner for now. I'd want a new driveshaft so I wouldn't have to mess with it since I have a sealed carrier bearing.

or just drop it and sell the shocks/shackles while you can still get decent money for them
