After looking more closely at your pictures, I'm come to the conclusion that know one else has mentioned in that it needs to come down another inch in the rear...

Thanks again everyone! I'm gonna lower the rear next spring. Just too many other things to do. Kinda itching for a complete 4" in the rear lol. The front looks nasty. I have gf shackles, is the lower perch 1" or 1.5"? If its 1 I'd do the 3" drop leafs to get me 4 total out back.

Wow TG24 (John is it?),

I was just looking at "what did you do today" thread and saw you make mention of lowering your truck. After a little looking .... and here is the thread. That truck as you bought it was a lot like one I tried to buy but that got sold before I moved on it, cap and all. It's come quite a ways, and I love the twin side exhaust as well!

I think I told you long ago it'ld look great lowered .... and it does LOOK GREAT! I wouldn't worry too much about another inch just yet .... I'ld just enjoy for now.

Like the idea of a rear sway bar .... been thinking of one for my '07 as well. What are you looking at, FoMoCo or aftermarket?
Does your truck still have the rear blocks or is the drop with blocks pulled and shakles?
Later .........

I appreciate it man! Really rides great and I am loving it I won't bring the rear down until next spring/summer, but this is a huge improvement already. The rear sway bar I am considering is Belltech, since I have most of their components on the truck anyways, might as well haha. Ford doesn't make one to my knowledge. Also I am 2wd so no block... rear is dropped with a 2" GF shackle and front is adjustable Belltech Street performance. Rear shocks are stock length Belltech Street Performance.

Oh .... I thought your's was 4wd .... LOL.

Anyway, still looks great!
About that rear bar .... you are probably right. I thought I had seen a rear bar under some trucks when looking at all those trucks .... but then I looked over mostly used 04-08s and may have seen some aftermarket rear bars or confusing memories?
Just looked at my CD and no mention of rear sway bars .... ? Or maybe I'm thinking of frt bars, maybe it was some had it, some didn't? (mine does).

Thanks again!

Yeah the front bars are standard, but the rears I think only would have come on the Roush trucks and Saleens if anything. I think it would make a great addition when cornering. I don't beat my truck, but the body roll on exit ramps is pretty bad and you have to really slow down. Although, the truck is much mroe confident with the drop.

Looks good John. I've had to replace all the front end components on mine and she's just a highway queen, and now a boat puller.

Thanks Will! Are you going to put bags in the rear to help with towing?
