Well my fab guy called and said that I'm going to need a spindle to get me where I want to be. As many of you know there is not a spindle for 09-12s yet. The 04-08 spindle fits but it doesn't work with my rotors so it looks like 04-08 rotors will have to be used. Hopefully that's it

Will you PM when you come into town to pick your truck up so I can meet you up there and check it out. I just want to be super jealous for a while since I am doing a C5 Z06 project before I put my truck under the knife. I really want to ride in it because ride quality is the number one thing I am trying to achieve when I do mine. I'll bring my ratchet and sockets too so we can take your running boards off. bwahahahhaah

That's not really my thing.

Look forward to watching the build. Status does some top notch work.

With you leaving the rest of the truck factory on the exterior I think the running boards will look good. Better than seeing the big ole' frame sticking out.

I'm going to find out tomorrow. I get off the boat tomorrow so hopefully it'll be before I have to go back to work in 4 weeks.

Im definitely excited about the work theyre doing to it! Yeah the running boards will hide it perfectly and will complete the oem but slammed to the ground look. I'm switching my lightning back to oem look as well and tbh I wish that one was getting the status package.. Maybe one day

IMO it would look better w/o the running boards, but either way it will be sick!

The older harley trucks has a stainless tube against the rocker that was tucked in pretty close. It looks like fabrication isn't a problem. Might be a way to ditch the running boards and still hide the frame. You could even paint them to match and they might blend in pretty good.
