easiest way to get more drop??

I have a 07 fx2 super crew with 2" drop coils and 2" shackles. Right now I'm sitting 3" higher in the back and want to get it a little closer to level.
I've been looking at flip kits and lowering leafs but was wondering if anyone knew about how much drop I would get from pulling the overload or even pulling the middle leaf and leave just the one long leaf and the overload(if this is safe).
I am planning on getting a helper bag kit so hauling is not an issue. I just want to see if I can get close to 2 inches of drop without spending any money.

The less expensive option is to install Belltech adjustable struts for the front. You could use your factory springs and get the front wherever you want it. 2" of rake is ideal.

I would not remove a leaf from the rear. In addition to carrying the load, they also play an important part in lateral stability for the rear axle.

A more expensive option is to buy 3" lowering leaf springs for the rear. You can use them with your OE shackes.

Did you use just the shackle or did you use the hanger relocate brackets too?
The hanger kit will get you another 2 inches or so and still keep the leaf springs intacked thus not changing your load capacity.

I don't think they make a hanger kit for the 04+ models

Your right. DJM has a flip kit and a lifting hanger. Talk to Kris at the Suspension source. She seems to know what everyone needs.
