Yes, no need to change anything. Elongate the holes on your lower control arm mounts and all will be good. I thought you meant you had bad springs that need to be replaced. Your alignment shop just doesn't know what they are doing.

Can the Eibach Pro dampers be used with the spindles or are those only for trucks with drop springs?

Good question, I believe they are still stock length(double check that, but about 80% sure). But honestly I like my Belltech struts better than the Eibach struts I had (different truck, different size tires, different drop though)

Not to mention you can adjust the height with Belltech...

That's what I have now...eibach has the set of 4 on closeout for $251. Something is off on my front end. Its pissing me off. Maybe I'll just do the spindles and get a new set of these in a few months and keep them at stock height.

Thanks guys!
Well I do have over 100k on the drop. I think I will just see about getting new struts and while fixing that, elongate the holes! Can't hurt to try!

As for the Allignment guy, I don't have much faith in them.

Been getting a lot of questions about driveline vibrations lately. Found this good example, you want your pinon shaft to be parallel to either the transmission output shaft(if one piece driveshaft) or center bearing output (if 2 piece)

Although, there is a little exception to this, your pinion will rotate up while accelerating, or under load. At no point do you want the rear ujoint to be straight.

I too am looking for some guidance. Bought my 06 new and now have 114k on it. Being parts are worn I want to replace things and do it better than the dealer did for me.

Today I took the worn out strut assemblies off and replaced them with belltech lift/ lower struts set to 1" lower and installed belltech 2" drop spindles with Moog factory type springs.

Now I want to remove the rear 3" shackles and do a 4" flip kit.

Questions. the way I'm understanding this, I will install a 1" lifting shackle to get 4", where the factory shackle would sit it at 5?

Also, shocks. What am I to be looking for? Lowered shock types? Standard height? if I need shock extenders, are they included in the kit?

thanks a bunch
Scott

Are you using the stock bump stops or the Belltech bump stops? Do you have the stock shackles still on?

I don't think Belltech sells a 4" flip kit for your truck, the factory shackle should be about 6" drop where the 1" lifting shackle will be about 5" drop (they advertise it as 5.5" drop).

DJM sells a 4" flip kit that uses the stock shackle and a 2" lifting hanger.

Or Belltech 3" drop leaf springs and 1" drop shackles will get you 4" drop.

You get get the extensions, but if you are already doing the Belltech struts, you might as well get the Belltech rear shocks. I would not recommend the DJM Calmax shocks.
