Be careful with the control arms. I would recommend the Belltech Lowering Strut and Belltech Spindles.

Control arms and spindles is what I am running in conjunction with drop struts. And it puts me right at 5.5" in the front. But to go that low you need the mod the tie rod ends and notch the heck out of the cross member. And get ready to rub!!!

2.5" Control arms and 2" spindles here, cut tie rods and no crossmember notching here. and minimal to no rubbing

Yeah so i hear if i want to combine lowering components its best to use spindles and CA's. I will no longer be using 24"s so i will go pretty low this time around and find some OEM 20's.

How much did you spend on notching the frame?

You gotta pay to play. Nothing about lowering a truck is cheap. I have learned that it is best to spend the money when it matters. I have learned this through trying pretty much every different drop setup you can think of on several different trucks. You don't want to half a$$ it and be unsatisfied with your finished product. Take your time, buy the best products, and don't cut any corners.

I hear you there. This will be my second set up so i know what yor saying.

Probably just gonna run my 3.5" CA's and flip kit for now. Then later get the spindles for a lower set up.
