Going lower build

So my quest for an even better riding and handling suspension setup is leading me to drop my truck another 1" on all four corners.

Here's the break down of what all will happen parts wise.

Front Current
3" Eibach springs
Factory lightning spec bilsteins
Front Future
2" spindle
2" springs
2" ground force drop shock

Rear Current
2/3" Eibach hanger (3" used)
2" ground force shackle
Lightning spec bilsteins
Rear Future
2/3" Eibach hanger (3" used)
JLP 2/3/4 shackle (actual drop 3" on highest mark)
4-6" Ground force drop shock
Had to start with notching a crossmember under the cab for driveshaft clearances, and i also had to install a Cnotch on the frame for axle clearances.

Here's the pics of the crossmember cutting, and Cnotch. More pics as more parts come in, and get installed

Be careful not to door ding yourself

Making notch for crossmember

Mocking, Tracing, Cutting, Grinding, Welding

Had to support rear of frame during cutting and welding to make sure it didnt sag and settle funky

Tomorrow everything will be coated in undercoating, so no pics of that yet....

That's a pretty beefy looking c-notch. Nice work! Cutting up your own truck takes some cajones!

well the week's work is completed, so the truck is "finished" for now. need to order a few more parts, so stay tuned.

I wish i had the resources, financially and mechanically to bag the truck. Still need a reliable daily driver too

Its going to look wicked patman! I dont think any of us would have a problem hacking up a car or our own truck if we had all the knowledge patman has..
