Yea I wasn't so sure on keeping 2 tone as its usually a murdered out truck or white with black. I guess being a little different is kinda cool. Again thx for the complements

I like the 2 tone. Nice to see a little break from the complete black out.

I personally like the two-tone... maybe just because it's not as common. The truck looks great so far, can't wait to see it on some new rims.

The Roush valance fits the saleen skirts much better. I think the FX2 looks great on other kits but the saleen comes down so low even the Saleen bumper looks like poop not matching the lines of the body. Im excited to get mine painted the way the side skirts on I think it will look real sharp. Especially once I get some real rims

i was planning on doin' a complete one ton stone green on mine but the price/work/labor/destruction and reconstruction of my baby for the price didn't justify itself, no painter wanted to "blend" the colors but repaint the whole thing instead

your truck's given me motivation to keep my 2-tone and work with it, heck that's why they're lariats!!

Hey Iron,

I can't see the pics, just a "frog in a cube of ice" (something about an unregistered domain or something). I'd love to see it.

BTW, since you have both hoods, can you tell any difference between the Saleen and OEM besides the vent? More specifically, the underside of the hoods where the bracing is located? Do you think Saleen just used an OEM hood and added the vent or does it look like an entirely different hood?

Do you have any pics of the underside of both hoods?

P.S. I sent you a PM

Looking good...I have been thinking about that hood. I thought it was already functional in stock form but I guess not. Before you cut it out...under the vent...did they at least have drain holes for water or did it just collect in that area under the mesh?

Nope no drain holes or anything. Just holes for the mesh bracket studs to go through.

I replied to your pm. The pics still work for me? I can email them to you if you give me an address. The underside of the saleen hood is vastly different then stock to the point id say its in no way stock by any means. We actually had to adjust fender to hood gap as it was about 3/8 gap more on each side from stock. Adjusting is very easy
