for the wiper cowl did you test fit like the notes that were floating around here say to do so, or did you take the hood off? i have the cowl just sitting there collecting dust

I test fit it. No hoid removal first, just did a nit of trimming per snother member's suggestions. I have a thread about it if you search in my profile.

That's exactly what I followed. I made my own brackets though, a bit different but the same philosophy.

Yeah my SS cowl was in need of minor repair when I got it and I had to do some fiberglass reinforcement work to it, which is sort of what i expected. Painter inspected it and saw micro stress cracks in the gel coat and had to do more prep work to it. I sort of expected that too. Just looking forward to getting all this stuff put on.

it's def, going on the truck i dislike the factory cowl for many reasons i just couldn't part with it jsvo for 175 i think it's well worth when it's on

the things that hold me up from doing mods is my college salary and my nagging parents about how i destroy perfectly decent stuff

Just for a heads up most places are giving free s/h on all ss products. I am going to get the cowl and the bed rails!!!

Yeah lol I got mine off Amazon but it wasn't in good shape. Had to do reinforcement work to it.
