Leafs or hangers

What would be better? (ride comfort and ease of installation).

Belltech 2" shackles with Belltech 3" lowering leaf springs part # 5986 http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/1...l00038478.html

OR

Belltech 2" shackles with Belltech 2" drop hangers?

Shackle/Hangers would be my suggestion. Let me know if you need some pricing.

I went with shackles and hangers and they improved the ride.

Aftermarket drop leafs normally have a stiffer spring rate with results in a rougher ride.
Hangers won't really have an effect on your ride quality other than lowering your center of gravity.
However leafs/shackles will be much easier to install than hangers/shackles.

My ride stiffened up to be more of a sporty ride with the GF lefs (and coils), not rough at all. Sporty, and how a truck should ride. It rode like a Cadillac before which I hate.

i liked how the ride was when i had shackles and hangers, and now after putting lightning leafs on, i had to put the shackles on the highest setting because the leafs dropped me a lot and it resulted with a BOUNCY ride and i hit bumpstops all the time now.......i really need to do a notch, but i'm skeptical because of all the weight i put in the bed when i'm working.

I wouldn't be worried about a notch man, my frame has twisted enough to make my bed hit my cab but my notches are still fine lol.

Thanks guys. Most likely going to go shackles and hangers. What drop shocks do you guys recommend? All my components are going to be belltech so I would like to stay with belltech shocks.
