he could remove the front shafts from the diff, and cut just the hub off of it, to retain front wheel speed sensors.

is it just me or does it look like his lca's are too close to the shafts to where they might be making contact?

I assume you have the 3.5" LCA on your truck. That's an extreme drop for a 4WD.

When the front is lowered (or raised), it changes the angles of the CV shafts. There's a point where the angle is too much for the shafts to compensate for.

It's also possible that the control arm is hitting the joint and breaking it. If that were the case, it would probably happen when going over a bump.

I would contact DJM and ask for their input. We could speculate as to the exact cause all day long, but without seeing the vehicle in person, and doing some diagnosing, it's difficult to say if the LCA is hitting the joint, or the drop is simply too much. To tell if the LCA is hitting the joint, you'd want to remove the strut, support the control arm and splindle with a jack, and raise it to see if it is making contact at any point.

The simple answer is that the problem would go away if you had the original LCA reinstalled. But I'm sure that's not what you want to hear. So before you do anything, call DJM Tech Support at 310-538-1583.

ok , so theres no 'safe' way to lower my truck 3.5 inches in the front?

why would djm make a kit for a 4x4 if it doesnt work?.....
