might be going lower!

just found a guy on craigslist selling an eibach coil and leaf drop for $200

hopefully its a 4" drop leaf spring and not the 3" i want to go 6" in the rear with the leafs and a shackle. then the the 2" coils and my 2.5 LCA's for 4.5" in the front, and 6" in the back. i just hope that will work with my 305/40/22 tires. if not i will make a spacer to go on the strut like the belltechs that lift it up either half an inch or an inch. also hopefully its not sold already

edit i just realized eibach doesnt make a 4" drop leaf spring so now i would be stuck with either 5" drop in the rear with a shackle or leave the flip in for a 9" drop with djm lift hangers and shackles to get it to 6"

yeah probably, worst case, i will make a spacer to lift the front back up 2.5" so its only dropped 3" but with a stiffer spring now

Eibach only makes a 3" leaf drop. Their 4" leaf drop is the 3" leafs with a 1" drop shackle.

i think my girlfriend would kill me, being that i just bought 2 new tires, now planning on buying new springs, then new wheels and tires? its not just the money but also that she has the same wheels on her truck haha

but anyways, i decided i just want to go down at most 1" in the front and .5" in the rear, making it a 3.5/6 drop. but my theory is that if i get different springs they will be stiffer so i would bottom out less. then found those eibachs but a 3" leaf i could only go down either 5 with shackles or leafs with my flip and lift hangers and shackles to get to a 6" drop with a stiffer spring. so i wanted a 4" leaf so i could just put on shackles and be at 6", but the only 4" leaf is the mcgaughy, which after doing some research is softer than stock so that wont work. then on the front i will get some 2" drop springs, i guess i could get 3" doesnt really matter, then makes some spacers to go under the spring perch like on the belltech struts to make it only lower it another 1"

ok so my main problem is i need stiffer leafs, and stiffer coils. the coils is not a big deal i can get drop coils and make spacers to only let it drop it 1". but the rear is a bit more difficult, so i was thinking, what if i took out my coilover shocks in the rear (which currently lift it up .5" and make it a little stiffer, not much) and put in a 2" add a leaf which adds about 1000lb towing capacity, so should make it quite a bit stiffer then use a drop shackle to get it back down to the 6" drop from the flip kit....

so what im saying is -6 flip kit +2 add-a-leaf -2 shackle=6" drop with stiffer springs also i just ordered a pair of ground force air shocks for the rear the other day if i need a little fine tuning

ok so i took off the coilovers today and put the groundforce air shocks in the back. it rides so much better now, just way too soft. need to find some ground force leafs and some drop coils cheap. also need too find some decent but cheap struts. i know jvso is selling some 3" coils, might end up doing that, with spacers to lift it back up 2" but would rather put them on new struts...i need an alignment bad, and want this done before i get it done so i dont have to have it re done

so where to get some decent struts for cheap?
