droppin a 90. have ?'s

I'm planning on dropping my 90 longbed std cab. I'm thinking of the Belltech stage 1 2" 4" kit. I will also be installing 17" MB Motoring Gunner 5 wheels with a negative offset. Will 275/55/17 tires be too tall? The tire is about 29" tall. I want to keep close to the same tire height as the stock 235/75/15 for speedometer reasons. Thanks for any help.

The 15 is 28.87" tall and the 17 is 28.90" tall. So it sounds like you are on the right path.
