What Else Do I Need?

I have a feeling that my truck NEEDS to be on air soon. Im not thinking clearly right now so I know I missed some stuff but i think ive got a pretty good lift. I cant really weld but Ill be happy using a "bolt on" kit as long as I install it myself. I know I dont have air line on the list, thats because I wanna run hard line but that site didnt have it, so Ill order it elsewhere. Also Ill need to make a new trans crossmember so I can lay flat.

Opinions/suggestions please.

$3k for air ride? I think you should upgrade to Win7 or get a Mac first, lol. No, but good luck, I can't wait to see this on your truck.

Just so you know Mitch isn't the owner the owner of Ekstensive is Bill Carlton. Mitch just runs the sales end of it but still works in the shop.

If you want to really go low, then your going to have to cut the inner fender structures and fabricate new ones, move the fuse box and other the other parts that are bolted to the inner fenders and maybe even install a Explorer power brake booster for more clearance.

hey man i use to be in the airbagg scene, wish i still was. but everything looked good i would recomend viair 480 compressors very strong, and also a 8 gallon tank youll thank me later. the reason i say that is you will lift the front up and half to wait to get the back all the way up cause you dont have a enough volume of air. what i like is the more ports on the tank the better for whatever reason train horns , air hose's ,ect.... from what i know my buddy has a 98 and we bagged his he did the kp 6 link and it was a very well built kit. but his did not come with a notch he bought the 8pc step notch. another place to check out is suicidedoors.com they have everything youll need for decent prices not the best but one stopp shop.Other than that the front end was simple had to trim a lilttle, i think the bump stop bracket and some other lil things but i hope this helps, hopefully dosnt sound like a run on sentence.....good luck doing everything right the first time will save u lots of money and time

and on my buddies he has 20's and clears in the front we had the oull the plastic inners, and the rear is tricky with the stepside dont want tires to rub on those so offset is very important

so how's your engine build coming?

cut and welded those angle iron braces in the centers for more support, took off about 2/3" of material off the bottom of it. primed and painted
