Anyone use DJM's Control Arms to lower 3.5".. I have a quick question...

I just really want to know if you used it, and how its working out for you. I put mine on over a month ago and it squeeks and creeks like crazy when pulling into my drive way at any angle. I've tried "Deep Creep" w/ no change at all. Should these be tourqed to a certain level to not crush the bushings etc.? Its so annoying, and I dont know if its affecting anything else negativley either. I called DJM and all they tell me is not to over tighten but they cant give me a solid solution. should I be lubing something else up there besides the control arm? Any help please.

(The Truck is an 06 Mark LT 4WD)

Thanks

Mine been on my truck for going on 5 years without a single noise. They need to be torqued to I think 225 ft lbs. Did you install them like djm says to by drilling a hole in the steel sleeve?

I had it installed by a shop.... I dont know if they drilled anything. Whats the hole for?

It came with a hole drilled already and grease fitting. I know it was filled with grease cause i saw them do that part.

They probably didn't drill it because there shouldnt be any noise the inner sleeve is rubbing the bolt causing the noise

mine dont make any noises, but im not on DJM either, remember any arm with a bushing like that needs to be torqued down with the weight of the truck on it, so the bushing is at the correct angle when it gets tightened down

Remember also they need to be torqued to 225 and the lower shock bolt torqued to 250
