New guy. Just saying hi.

Picked up a '98 regular cab 2x4 F150 on Thursday with a 4.6/auto 48,xxx miles on it for $4500. Not too shabby. It has a couple minor issues, but I'll figure it out. I bought this one to tow my Mustang to the track and back as well as DD.

This weekend I bought a trac-loc w/3.73's. I'll get to putting that in as soon as it's nice out. But this weekend I installed the easy stuff: the 2" drop shackles, painted the stock rims black, removed the goofy step-bars the PO had installed (still need to cut off the hangers), stripped, buffed, and waxed it up. It cleaned up well, but I still need a few things.

I'm looking for a set of 20's for it, but let me know what you think so far.

Nice truck. Removing the door moldings is an easy mod that cleans up the appearance.

Lol. Thanks for the tips guys! I guess they can keep on coming since you seem to see stuff so easily... I've only owned it four days, so I'm moving as quickly as possible. All those things are on my list.

Thanks again guys! I actually had the caps black and bought silver ones to have a little contrast on it. I like the silver caps better. Looks almost like the Police Interceptor cars IMO.

damn thats really low mileage and a great price to boot!

I like the look of the stock 16s painted black, i dont think ive ever seen the 97-98 wheels like those painted before, now just do the centers :o

I think a set of lightning 18s would look killer, and wont be too low profile of a tire for towing on
