I think you can't go more then 4" up front due to the CV axles.

Carry on
Am I understanding this corectly? I am doing a 6" flip kit in the back. This means its going to drop to 8"?!

you are understanding correctly.

easiest way to drop the rear of your truck 4" from where it sits right now would be 2" shackles and remove the 2" lift block and use 2wd U bolts.

and easiest way to drop the front will be putting 2wd spec struts on your truck

I am looking at his list. He has the 6 inch flip and the 2 inch shackles and the 2 inch glocks removal. That is 10 inches of drop right? Are they. Selling him the shackles and he doesn't need them? I think he is getting a lot of drop there that the truck can't handle. Or is my lack of knowledge of flip kits confusing me? Or the lack of sleep just starting my knight shift week with a 3 year old at home who doesn't.care that I need sleep.

FK32046 Rear - Flip Kit - 6'' Each
SH3200 Rear - Shackle Kit - 1'' Lift Set
2200DJM Cal-Max Super Shock Each
This kit supposedly drops the back 6" then lifts it 1" w/ the shackles for a total of a 5" drop. Are you guys saying its the wrong kit or what?

If you leave the block in with the flip kit it adds another 2" drop

Trust me, if you want to go 2/4 from where you are right now, just do 2wd struts up front, and remove block and add a 2" shackle in the rear.

it would be a 3/5 +2 block removal for total of 3/7
if you left blocks installed, it would be 3/5 +4 for a total of 3/9

Okay if you want 5" rear drop do 3" eibach leafs combined with 2" block removal

Im not sure where the blocks would be. But here are some pictures. Is this where I should be looking to see if my truck has the blocks? (sorry so annoying, im a rookie to trucks). If this is not where I should be looking does anyone have an example?

Ok, I googled F150 block pics and then went out side to look. i do have blocks. So one option to get the 5" drop would be what Patman said to get the 3" leafs and remove the blocks. Other than that any other options or kits out there to get the 5"? Im still going with the DJM 3.5 front drop.

I have the Saleen suspension on my truck which is advertised as a 2/2 drop if you leave the oem 2" blocks in and 2/4 if you take them out. The kit consists of new coils, new leafs, new struts and new shocks. I have an H&R kit too that been sitting in my dining room for a couple months. That kit consists of 2" lower coils and 1.5" shackles. I decided that I'm going to cut 2" of dead coil off of the H&R springs and take the Saleen's out along with installing the shackles. That'll give me 4/5.5 of drop and leave about 2" of gap above my 33"+ tires. Take a look at my current pics to see what the 2/4 looks like and adjust from there.

Sorry for the late entry

thats your hanger and shackles, in that order

the blocks will be between the leaf spring and the axle

your other option is doing 3" leafs, and a 2" shackle and leave the blocks in, but it will cost more and be softer riding which means you will loose more payload
