im currently running belltech 2" drop shackles and supercrew leafs (no height difference from stock tho)

i have 2 ground force drop shocks for the rear (pn 21330 or C041X2)
2 belltech shims (6 deg.)
2" belltech drop hangers

stock 4.6 v8 coils (probably going to cut 1 coil off until i can afford better springs)

is it possible to run stock shocks on the front with a 1-2 inch drop?
or will it ride so bad that itll mess stuff up?

I assume you put the thicker side forward, but you probably would have been okay without any shims since you are lowering the front and back of the leafs evenly.

I think you have too much shim in it if you installed the 6* shims on a 2" hanger and 2" shackle setup

yeah derek looked up which way to put em in and gave me a call while i was workin on the drop (thanks for that btw!)

i think i may be over-shimmed too...i THINK im getting a slight vibration every once and awhile, but its hard to tell

i got 6* just cus thats what the guy i bought my stuff from used..idk

how is the rear of your silver truck dropped? and how much drop? and what shims are you using?
lol sorry for so many questions

I had 6* shims when i had only eibach 3" hanger installed.

then i added to 2" drop shackles for my 5" drop, and had 2* shims, and that wasnt enough (actually put a pinion angle gauge on the truck, so i went to 2.5* shims and it was perfect.

Its currently set at 1.5" drop on the shackles with 3" eibach hanger hole, for 4.5" drop so i have a little rake, and its still pleanty of shim in it.

they make a 3" hanger?
ghey i wish i knew that. oh well.

ive been trying to find someone in my area that i can get to check my pinion angle, but no luck yet.

so you think i should take out the shim and then if that doesnt work out try out about a 2.5* shim?

I would put stock shim back in until you can get a gauge on it. and just FYI factory shim is actually a shim, its a .5* shim

Im in the market for a pinion angle gauge, ill let you know if i pick one up.

and yes eibach makes an adjustable 2" or 3" hanger.

Yay! I think maybe the 2* might have been too much for me.....

I'm wondering if it might be something else, since I never had vibration before...then it just popped up one day....
