Not as dark as some, but I didn't want cop trouble. Asked to have them smoked at "half" the average darkness. I chose not to go with the Hella LED third brake light. Wasn't too happy with the way it looked. Too much smoked stuff. The OEM third brake light kinda breaks up all the black, IMO. The Hellas turned out pretty well. Highly satisfied. - Og
