how much to lower?

I would like to lower my '05 supercab to achieve a better look and enhanced handling. just doing a 2" rear is tempting due to the low cost but I would want to go a tad lower and it would be nice to lower the front as well. and I am sure this would barely increase performance if at all. I am looking for a setup that will lower the front about 1" or 2" and the rear about 4". I also want the setup to increase performance as much as possible while staying on the cheap side (not embarrassed to admit it). does anyone have any suggestions on specific kits? thankyou in advance.

There's the Eibach Pro Kit for $370. It's a 2" drop in the front and 3" in the back giving you about a 1" rake. It consists of front lowering springs and rear leafsprings with new shackles.

There's free shipping right now. They're a really fast and reliable site to order parts from. I got my intake and brakelight kit from them.

Eibach 2/3 comes with no shackles, the 2/4 does.

biggest cost in a drop kit is paying someone to install it. If you can turn wrenches and have common sense you can do it yourself and save hundreds.

Eibach makes great kits no matter if its the 2/3 or 2/4

I would recommend the Pro Dampers. Replacing the stock shocks would be a move I would make. - Og

How would the ride and handling be if i just kept the stock shocks as opposed to swaping them out for the pro dampers? should i save my money and put it towards a gryphon or is it that much better?
