I always wondered why Ford started off with the 2 piece and then to the 1. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Good R&D, I guess. Stealth, you thinking about the sway bar kit or going without it? - Og

Wasn't thinking about it, but who are you going to buy them from?

AutoAnything, probably. That's if I can't find a better deal on eBay or some other source. They have competitive pricing, plus no shipping costs. - Og

Hey, all. Eibach tech gave me a source to buy shims if you need 'em. Told him about my 3" leaf plus 1" shackle drop and he told me that I "may" need the shims. Guess what? Eibach doesn't sell them. They have the alignment keys for the front end, though. Not sure if I need them. I ordered the shims for the possible driveshaft vibration for $28.75 plus $8.00 shipping from Specialty Products Company. Part number - #86255

My GF shackles came with shims. I'm using them with the 3" Eibach leafs to make the 4" drop.

Yeah, you cheated!

I see the GF shackles come with shims, but I ordered the Eibach 1" shackles in concert with my 2/3 Pro Kit and no shims are with 'em. I was concerned, so I called Eibach. Pretty informative dude. I also picked up the alignment keys for $46.00 plus $8.00 shipping from Motorweb.com. (Part # 5.86240K)Cheapest I've seen them, yet. Not sure if I'll need them, but I rather pay a little now, than pay tire replacement money later. - Og

Mine aligned just fine (2" GF drop coils) without anything extra like that. NTB did the alignment.

I'm hoping I don't have any problems, also. Just getting prepared if I do! - Og

I went down to PatMan's and we did the leafs. Had to drop the tank to get front driver's side leaf bolt out. Wasn't too hard actually. The coils I bought pre-loaded in the struts, that was plug and play.

When I get the damper kit I'm taking the front coilovers to a shop so they can put the spring in the eibach coilover since I've never used a spring compressor.
