I thought about lowering mine a couiple inches and putting street tires ono there...but that kind of defeats the purpose of a 4 wheel drive huh?

i was a little dissapointed, went to the track for the first time and my best time was:
16.71@82.6
i have an 05 scab fx4, k&n fipk, edge, maggie sido,20's with factory pirellis,and 3:73's i was heavy though i had over 3/4tank of 87 octane. i wasnt planning on goin to the track so i just put 87 in it.
the biggest thing i was dissapointed about was an 03 silverado BONE STOCK runnin 16.3's all night. im still trying to cope with the sobering fact that my truck still isnt a lightning.

You did a comparison with an XCal2 vs Edge? Is it troyer tuned and were they same-day comparisons?

 

no its not troyer tuned! and no it was not compared on the same day!the two days i tested were actually at night! and i know what you are thinking, the temp could have been difeerent on those two nights! if it was it was only a degree, this is south ,florida and during the summer at night,its hot and muggy.

 

haha this is sad.. but when i first got my truck i went to school at Wyotech in laramie wyoming... found a drag strip up there in wyoming... 7000+ feet.. ran a 17.8 @ 72mph... the air just killed it..

 

HEY I TOOK My New model 4 door truck to the track. And ran a 17.9 I thought it'll be a lil better than that. It's stock all the way, but still.

Is that about right for these new trucks?
If so, theres alot to do for improvement.

yeah.. when id come back home (missouri) it felt like i had a whole new truck! last weekend me and my dad took his new car.. 2006 c#vy corvette Z06... i ran an 11.12 in the quarter.STOCK! it hauls!

Best time - 16.210 @ 86+ mph (comp had brain fart! - didn't record speed right)

Your 200mph claim is in the lower 7 second range chief.

So you're either :

1. trying to be funny
2. have no clue about drag racing
3. or trying to blow smoke up the buttz of someone who hasn't drag raced before.
