I hate being the advocate... but...

Not everyone likes to lay... after all lay what? Floor? Frame? Rocker? Or simply lay out the range of stock suspension with a bolt on? Everyone has different tastes as they do opinions.

Dime.. i respect what you are doing with your truck, but chris has been bagged a while. As a matter of fact i believe he was the first FX2 that was on air ride here on the forums, and to top it off, its a STOCK truck that can air out at a light and look bad-***! how many trucks can do that in stock trim?

And hauling can be done on any properly set up air ride. Thats why the big rigs use air to support their load, it doesnt matter if you lay or not.

i like all the muscle cars that ridetech does, so sick
ART does some bad stuff, laying full out on frame and dragging isnt what they do though and if you like their work you should know. If you look, ART is usually some high end stuff, regardless of laying or not. 3 grand for an all bolt on fully reversible air is pretty damn good in my opinion. Actually its quite a bargain given its versatility and ease of install and removal without affecting the stock components.

Not knocking YOUR opinion, but air management from ART isnt the greatest and overpriced IMO. Its more for lowering your ride when you park and picking it back up when your ready to drive, given at least a long time span between.

And from what i can see it goes up and down without an air chuck so he has to have electronic valves, lines and fittings and compressors with a reserve tank.... i call that air managment regardless if its from ART or not.

IF i read correctly, and i may be retarded at times, but he did say he had two Viair 480s. Thats a high end comp from a respectable company, running at least 300-350 a piece, that gives him JUST in comps from 600 to 700 or deeper. Thats not including tanks, fittings, line etc.
If you have ever ran lines and fittings you know that all the little 3 and 5 and 7 dollar stuff can add up real quick. You can easily invest 200 in just simple brass fittings alone.

Dont knock a guy for being cheap just because the truck doesnt lay .
Last i checked you weren't on air yet so does that make you cheap?
I think not. My truck isnt on air, and it may never be due to how i use it but it doesnt mean im cheap or dont know squat about air or suspensions either.

It most definitely wasn't the cheapest route either, try most expensive but well worth it.
Chris i gotta knock you too, since i backed you up lol

Performance? Please state how? as far as i can tell your still on completely stock geometry. Meaning that your suspension is no better or worse than a well balanced static suspension. You can willingly adjust your height and give a variable spring rate at will but i doubt it is any good unless you have a precise measurment on how much air is needed in each corner AS you GO into a right or left corner.. at a measured speed.
You have just effectively lowered your roll center by airing it out a bit which isnt a good thing if its way too low.

Your Q1A or whatever they call them shocks will give you a stiffer bound or rebound and it helps but i fail to see how it is leaps and bounds over a stock lowered and properly shocked setup designed to carve roads.

Props tho it is a badass setup and i love your stock look with the ability to air it out to a cool lower than 4-6 drop when you park. No one would expect that from a stock looking truck.
Your paint looks very well maintained and is quite good looking, that red glows in the vids!

Ok im done

Thanks Man!!

I see what your saying about performance. I was referring to how it was not meant for looks only. I could have very well went to another air suspension company, but it would have been crap in regards to quality of the components and ride.
Like you said, I can adjust rebound and bound of the shock, but i'm actually adjusting the shock it self not the pressure(PSI) in the bags. They are double adjustable shock-waves which has a **** on the top of the shock to adjust stiffness in both bound and rebound, giving you the performance of a stiff setup for tight turns or just a soft setting for cruising, i'm adjusting the shock it self not the amount of pressure (PSI) that it is the bags. I get the best of both worlds.

Very clean marky mark! I think down_south has those same rims. Can I have ur bedcover?

And STONED, I was talkin about the red truck (Old Body Style) I saw in ur album. Not yours?

And Fabian I completely agree with/understand everything u said. I wasn't knocking his truck or setup at all. Jus askin why. Figured it was sumthin that had to do with functionality.

Ah yes i forgot the shockwaves have adjustable shocks, so you like those? I havent ever personally had too much time to really play with them.

Yea sorry, my little rants sometime seem offensive when its not my intention at all.
When are you planning on adding air?
We are buttoning up a few things on a truck at the shop and i cant wait to hear the compressors kicking on
We got the newer Viar 444 dual pack for this one and im eager to see the performance on them. We have a single cab 90 style chevy in too and he has airlift comps... they literally take 15 min to air up a single 5gal tank!
Its what the guy wanted so
