Sub box for '03 F150 SuperCab
Anybody have some pics or info on sub boxes for a SuperCab F150 ? Im looking to put 2 10's under the seat. Ive done the measurements, and it looks like with a 3" seat lift, I'll have enough cubic feet for them. Id like to see what some of you guys have done. I know JL makes enclosures (and I DO want to use JL speakers), but it only holds one 10. I'll probably end up having one built, the space under the seat is very irregular.
Any pics, ideas or thoughts would be great. Thanks guys.

Sub Boxs ????
I too am very interested in find some sort of sub setup, just got ride of my lightning and picked up a 03 f150-super. I had a 10" MTX in a box that was behind the drivers seat but that will not work in the new truck. You mentioned lifting the rear seat 3" ? how do you plan to do that ? and what willthat do for the headroom in the basck seat ?
I saw the MTX had a box for the earlier extra-cab style trucks.
Can you send me a link of the JL style unit. would really like to see it.
Thanks and if I find any thing out I will post it here.

Water 73,
The JL Unit can be found here: http://www.jlaudio.com/stealthbox/f150_TRKEXT2.html
The seat lift can be done with these: http://www.lmiwelding.com/seat3.htm
Of course it will effect the head room, but my main reason for getting a SuperCab instead of a Lightning was room for my "stuff", not nec. people. I guess I could yank the seat all together, and just put in a nice big box, but I want it to look as stealth as possible.
Im heading down to some install shops tomorrow, and see what they say. Im also contacting JL Audio with my measurements and see what THEY say. I really want two 10's... I can do 1 with no prob. Im a glutton for punishment I guess.

you CAN fit 2 10's under it WITHOUT a lift. My friends truck has it on his 01 larait extended cab, and when I do my stereo Im doing the same thing from the same place he did his, but it will stick out about an inch from the seat. O well, doesnt bother me im driving!!
Well, got some info from Sound Advice here in Ft Lauderdale.
Basically, the guys down there can build a custom fiberglass box for 3 JL 10w3v2's for about $450.00, which includes I nice amp mounting job as well (flush mount, lexan cover etc etc.) Plus the price of the speakers of course. I think he said I'll have to rasie the seat an inch or two, due to the cu's required by the JL's. The box would be sealed instead of ported, also due to the irrugularity of the space under the seat, to port the box would be a nightmare; alot of port noise.
Just a little FYI for those who in the same boat as myself.

try this

I just had a box with 1 10" DEI pro for my 03 Screw, had a JL 10w6 in it for a day, the DEI sounds much better. Total space is .75, I'll take some pics tommorow and post them. The link above is a place that builds boxes for Screws and other F150's
