Thumbs up Custom Box

Allright guys I will be forever in your debt if somebody is kind enough to hook me up with the dimensions for a custom box dimension for 2 10 inch alpine type r's or any box that safely houses to 10 without compromising the position of my seat..(i.e. seat scooted all the way up... I would like to have the dimension for a box that can hold the tens while utilizing as much air space as possible in my 00L. I have seen several with a spot in the middle for the amp but they are unsure of the dimension as they paid alot to have a shop do it Please any advice would be appreciated as i am not interested in the thunderform. Thanx alot

Sick you ought to hook up with a dude whom has a custom build and get his dimensions from there and start utilizing the space , I did with mine was looking around internet and found the box but at 200 bucks all i really needed was the general look asteticaly . so i got in there and built a cardboard template to se how it would fit then went and used 5/8 for my thickness and began building with the drive line hump alowing the center of the box to rest on it and 1.75 " of air gap under the box allowing the speakers to move . It takes a few minutes once you get the dimensions rallied up and from there you can see the outcome . Here is a few shots of mine i'm in the process of laying carpet on it i also sprayed a vukcanized rubber for sealing { like the same bed liner stuff }

check out the pics sub box for 2 10" in supercab 2002 F150 under rear seat mount

holla if you need help

Word...thanx for the reply bro ... i appreciate the hell outa it I/ve bee trying to link up with some one who has a custom setup but there all shifty about hookin up the dimensions.....lame....I know nothing about stereo's and will be the first to admit ... I can hang tuff with all things mechanical and know what to do make my truck bail out but i'm gettin so damn frustrated over this farkin box. I hate stock speaker and am tired of listening to em. I built the box in my last two 4th gen camaros no prob but i wasn't workin with a big space constraint. Any info or dimension you could possible find for me i'd appreciate as I only am around the puter like once a day at my grrrls house until my pc get here in about a month. By the way your box is **** I really like the vulcanized rubber setup very trick. Souldprbably start another thread askin for anyone with custom set up to help me out. Thanx again for your time

I built this box useing the specs i found on the rockford web site, they have a nice section that covers box building as some of the other speaker manufacturers have on their sites.
I used heavy duty maf board and its a year old now and still kicks hard. Its weights about 60 pounds.
I cant find my original spec sheet and drawings
Check some web sights ill bet you can find the specs you are looking for.
SEE YA !!
