Question Q logic Dual 8 inch prefab'd box

I just became the proud purchaser of a Q logic dual 8 inch prefab'd box off of ebay that matches the tan on my truck. (If any of you were bidding on it...you have my regards) Anyway, never dealt with 8's before....just 10's and 12's. Any recommendations on the dual 8's? JL 8W0? MTX 4000? (I wonder if the 6000's would fit in that box..anyone know?)

Anyway, looking for something that will hit somewhat deep..and play nice.....Any and all ideas will be much appreciated.

Thanks!
Steve

I have a single Polk 8" sub in my truck. FWIW, the Polk certainly lacks the punch and low frequencies you would find in a good quality 10", but it does 'play nice'.

I like it for its good balance at medium volumes. Two of them might overcome the Polk's punch 'shortcomings'. IMO, if you want big bass go with another brand, but for playing nice, the Polk 8" is a decent option.

The reason Polk's only "play nice" is because Polk designs speakers to produce realistic music not overexaggerated bass like the Kicker Solo-baric's. I have two Polk GNX-104 10" subs in my truck and they sound really good. The bass is punchy, solid and detailed but they don't 'Boom' as Kicker, JL, Rockford Fosgate and otherd do. It all depends on what you want. I am more of an audiophile so that's why I chose Polk.
