I just put in the Thunderform for my application (1998 Supercab) and although it has a decent amount of bass, I was a bit less than impressed. Most websites have the amplified Thunderform for around $550. I shopped around and got mine for $450. I still think that that is a bit steep for the amount of Bass that it actually puts out. Does anyone else have one of these in their ride? I would rate it a weak 6 out of 10 for power, but with a rated 100 Watt amp, I guess it is about what one would expect with two 8 inch woofers. The Woofers are also strange with a proprietary impedance of .7 ohms as the specs say. I was going to go the dual 10 inch subbox.net route, but the price for all components was going to be a bit large. Most car audio is expensive for what you get.. Would I recommend this product? Yes, with realistic expectations. If you have the money, I would recommend an externally amplified version with beefier woofers.
