what's better i was told that the w3 is better than the w6. many people here speak highly of the w6. are they referring to the w6v2. v2 of course speaking of the 2nd version of the w6. the original w6, which came before the the w3, i was told, is no better than the w3 which came afterwards. sounds reasonable but i want to know how true this is

 

The w6 are better than the w3 because they have longer excursion capabilities. But, they are not much better than the w3. I have two ten inch w3 in my single cab and they hit pretty hard. Depending on your set up and money situation should determine which one you should get. Either way, they are both great subs

 

w6 is a better woffer to run when you are running 1 woffer.w3's run better in 2 or 3
