Do any of you guys have the Alpine R woofers? I am looking around and was almost set on getting some jl w6 but those are hard to come around and now the jl w6 v2 may be too big. just let me know what you think.

I want two 10's or 8's to go in my lightning

 

I used to have 2 JL 10W3's and they sounded so nice, tight clean bass and only needed a little power. While my friend was building his system we decided to put his Alpine type-R 10's in my box, same setup just different subs. I'll be honest, the bass wasn't as tight as before but the Alpines hit harder and a ton lower then the JL's ever did. Don't get me wrong they are very clean sounding, clean enough i bought a pair. But IMO i think it boils down to what you really want and what sounds good to you.
