Weird!!! Bass response from rear doors MUCH more than front speakers?
Hey guys...
Just wanted to check something with you that has been bugging the crap outta me. I have the stock "premium" sound system (WHATEVER) and I have noticed that when I use the fader to fade all the sound to the front door speakers I lose a CRAPLOAD of bass. With the rears by themselves or with a normal 50/50 fade front to back the bass response is fine. Anybody know what gives?
I plan on replacing the whole dang system with a new MP3 head unit and a US Acoustics 2150 amp for the Focal Polykevlar 165K2 components in the front doors (all this is as yet UNPURCHASED). I am wondering what I should do about the rear speakers in the back half doors on the SCab. I plan on just using the head unit's built in amps to power those and do NOT plan on adding a sub. What have YOU guys done as far as bass response from the rear when replacing the fronts with components?
Thanks for any help you can throw my way!
