Neat looking installation, but where did the tweeter get mounted?

Just in front of the door handle. I will get pix of that tomorrow. I actually like it there. The black blends in great. You just notice the little 'MB Quart" logo on them. The sound is just incredible.

Here is the HU and tweeter....
http://web.tampabay.rr.com/slapshot/Lhu.htm

I have a little fine adjusting to do on the mounting kit. The bracket bulges just a touch in the middle above and below the HU, I need to shave just a touch off to make it a perfect fit.

I have the same mounting kit that you do. And it bulges just above the pocket too. Must be a production flaw or somethin'.

Slapshot....

Are the tweeters flush mounted or surface mounted?

Also, how did you attached the crossovers to the inside of the door? screws or velcro?

I think I am going to order the 6.5's MB Quarts.

Tweeters are surface mounted. But with that part of the door having pading, they are almost semi-flush.

The crossovers were mounted with double sided 3M tape (heavy duty) and with heavy duty silicone. You can't place screws there, that is the outer layer of door.

If I can't un-bulge it, then it will get replaced. It seems to be just a touch to wide for that opening. It didn't bulge when I place the HU in it before they were installed.
