Question Componets and Speaker Wire

How hard is it to run new speaker wire and is it worth it? Also, what componets can fit in my screw with the least amount of trouble? Any hints will be appreciated.

why do you want to run new speaker wire?
go to AutoRadio on Germantown Parkway. they can do anything you want them to.

i am about to have them install 7" widescreen TV's on my headrests and a flipout TV with DVD in the DASH.

anything will fit if you want it too.

just dont ever try to go cheap or cut any corners with your Audio System.

I enjoy doing the work myself and Auto Radio tends to overcharge, but thanks for the reply.

Thumbs up Just did it on a Scab

I'm sure there are differences but it was fairly easy except for the drivers door. It took me about as long to do that one door as I spent on the other three combined. I installed my whole system which included a new HU, 2 amps, 4 Polk DX-7's and a Thunderform in a weekend. Some have probably done it faster but I took my time to do it right. Oh yeah, I also Dynamatted all 4 doors while I was in there. If you have the time and you don't mind doing it, I say go for it.

Like rtroha said, the drivers door is a pain, but the rest are fairly easy. One trick I used was to pull the rubber "hoses" that go between the frame and the door itself loose from both sides. That way you can see the wire and it will pull a little easier.

Thumbs up Same thing I did

I also took the rubber thing loose between the doors. Then I fished a coat hanger through from under the dash and pulled the wire through from the door panel. It can be done with a little effort.
