DOES ANYONE HAVE THE INFINITY REFERENCE 5752cf 5X7 SPEAKERS? IF SO, TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THEM. I HAVE A SET WRAPPED UP FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT, AND WOULD LIKE TO SNEEK A PEEK AS TO HOW THEY SOUND. THEY WILL BE RUNNING OFF A KENWOOD CD PLAYER BY THE WAY. I KNOW I SHOULD WAIT TILL CHRISTMAS, BUT IF ANYBODY HAS THESE SPEAKERS PLEASE TELL ME HOW THEY SOUND!

 

Isn't there a good car audio shop where you live, Joe? (And I don't mean CC or BestBuy). That's going be the only place you're going to get a definitive answer to your question. Otherwise, what do you expect us to say? "They sound GREAT!!!!" As I said in answer to your other post below, Infinity makes a fine speaker. WIth proper power, they are generally bright and clear (but not as much as their components). But, so what? What I, or anyone else thinks means nothing to your ears. When you open your present Christmas morn, I hope you're pleased. But you really shoulda listened to them before you asked to get them for Christmas.

 

YOUR RIGHT SUNDOG. BUT HEY, ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN THOSE FACTORY SPEAKERS. MAYBE I SHOULD TRY TO FIGURE THING OUT ON MY OWN INSTEAD OF HAVING EVERYONE ELSE DO IT FOR ME. THANKS.

 

You can say that again! ANYTHING sounds better than stock. When you pull the stock speaker out, you're gonna shake your head. "I've been listening to THIS?". After you install your new Inni's, you'll be smiling. Save your pennies for that amp. Merry Christmas.
