SuperCrew Powered Subwoofer?

Are there any pre-fabed Powered Subwoofers available for my 2002 Supercrew? I'd like to get the Clarion Camaflauge unit but they don't make it for this years truck yet!!

Any ideas?

Just need to add some boom

CC;
Do a search using "subwoofer", supercrew" and "enclosure" in the Supercrew and Subwoofer forums. There have been a considerable # of threads ref. sub enclosures in the Screw. If you're looking for the hard route, check my signature and this thread:

The webmaster has a terrific search engine ... you would be amazed at what you can find with a little effort.

FedEx,

Thanks for the Reply!! But, I'm looking for something Pre-Built. That thing looks cool on your however, whats an Expy console? (Epoxy console? if so, where do you get something like that?)

I really don't want to build something, want to just pull the head out, replace it with a REAL head unit, plut in a subwoofer and I'm done.

The F-150 is the #1 selling truck in the World, MILLIONS of them, you telling me knowbody makes a powered subwoofer to fit it?

Just doesn't make any sense to me......... hmmmm... think I just might start a bidness!!

Well, it's not quite as "plug and play"

as I think you might be after but..
It is a box for a single ten inch sub that slides under the drivers side rear seat. If you send me your email address, I can send you some pictures. (I hadn't yet got your email when I posted this).

As I said ... try a search ....
BTW, I'm a Jaguar fan ... a plank holder .... season tickets from the get-go ... till I left Navy fighters and started hauling (FedEx) boxes for a living (from memphis).
PS: "Expy" ... is an expedition center console installed in place of the smaller F-150 console. Click on the photo links (from the previous post) to see the difference ....

The Clarion will work in a 2002 as well as long as you have grey or tan interior.

Norm,

You sure about that? Clarion told me no, they say the lines have changed on the dash of the truck and it doesn't fit properly.....

Do you have one? If so, does it have speaker level input?

As far as I know the dashboards have not changed but you could compare your dash to a 2001 and see. I am sure there are a few left at your dealer. Yes it does have speaker level inputs. I do not have one but I have seen them. I am putting a 10" in a subbox.net box. I also know that the Crutchfield harness will not work with the premium radio so you would have to fabricate your own harness. I researched this a while ago but found that for the cost I could do much better.

Your correct, the dash has not changed (or anything else other than auto climate control) between the 2001 and 2002 Screw. However, they have changed from the 2000 model year. And, the Clarion unit is designed for up to 2000 only.

You can get the proper harness off the WEB (can't remember site name, have it saved at office). And I'm positive for the $$ you can do better, however, I'm not looking to save a buck, tryin to save time (fabricating one...).

I am in the middle of researching the subbox version, however, thye don't look finished (woofer, amp, crossover...)??

Thanks
