There was enough room for that sub? I didn't thing there was enough room for the airspcae let alone the mounting depth of the sub.
I currently have a 10" Kicker Solo mounted in the console ina custom box. I have a second I would love to be able to install, but I just cant find anywhere to put it!

You could probably put 2 10" subs if they were shallow and required less than 1.5 cubes airspace behind the seat with a custom rear wall. I just didn't want to lose the storage. I still have the jack and CD changer in the stock location and the drivers side storage compartment is where the amps are going to be. The only thing that didn't fit back in was the tire tool and I'm working on that.

And the sub! I realize it's ugly, but it has to be movable for now I plan to carpet it to match soon, too.

I apoligize for the two posts, but I've been too lazy to upload the pics to my page yet,,,,98

Here's a link to some pics of my system. I know I need carpet or vinyl but I haven't found anything that matches perfectly yet.

Here are pictures of my installation. I built a custom box to fit inside my rear console of my King Ranch Supercrew. Inside I put one Polk Momo 12 being pushed by a MTX Thunder 81000d. I've built numerous boxes over the years, but this one was by far the most difficult I've ever built. I completely replaced the console skeleton with my box.

Hey, where did you relocate the stock CD Changer? Did you hook up the EQ to the stock head unit? If so, does the speaker level input affect clarity? Also, are you running your 6.5 components off the stock head unit?

sorry for all the questions,
JC

Robdude - nice install - did you do that yourself?? Is that sub a free-air sub??

On a side note, did you see the lowered SCrew for sale in Newton Plaza a couple of weeks ago?? Looked pretty sharp!!
