LightningCrew, Yeah I saw the SCrew, Looked good! I didn't get to check it out closeup, though.
My sub is in a .3 cu.ft. sealed enclosure, pretty much wedge shaped with offsets on the rear and bottom. I followed every curve of the back wall and floor to get the proper airspace. The jack and stock CD changer is still in the same place, and the drivers side storage compartment is where the amps are. If you remove the rear plastic wall and pull the grey carpet stuff out you will see where I found the space. I'll try to get some pictures this weekend, I've got to pull it back out to fix an air leak

Hey Mark that's when Rockford amps at there Prime! Those amps were awsome. If you ever decide to sell them let me know!
Thanks, guys. It turned out better than I though it would. It is totally hidden behind the seats, the only clue to a high-end system is the tweeters in the doors, and maybe a faint glow on the back wall from the equalizer.

The pic below shows where I put the changer. I was going to put it under the seat in the middle, but it stuck out a bit when the seat is all the way back and I didn't want it to get kicked.

The HU is connected to the EQ through a line level converter. Then the EQ outputs to the amps. One amp for the subs, one for the components. I am very happy with the sound quality through the LLC's.

So I found out
The subs are rated for 350 watts (1200 peak!), and I didn't think those little amps would be enough. But I can turn it up louder than I can stand it and it's still clear, and that's good enough for me.

Mark_2kL - Very clean install! You did a great job with that. I'm going for the stealth installation myself and trying to keep all stock functionality at the same time. How did you attach the vinyl? I tried a spray glue that didn't work too well.
I've used spray glue before, it definitely has a mind of it's own
The best stuff will usually come from 3m, they know their business! It always helps to have a friend keep the vinyl taut while you put it down on the surface. Once that stuff is stuck, you can literally rip the vinyl getting it back off. Let the spray adhesive dry a while to let the solvents air out. I made the mistake of not waiting once, and the vinyl kept forming bubbles from the glue being wet.,,,,98

Here's a link to the install pics. Included are some pics of the box and the mods to the plastic wall.

Mark 2KL;
Thanks for the info..............that is one sweet install........
Unless I decide to go all out, and go the DVD route, I will probably stick with the stock head unit.........therefore, a line level converter will be necessary for me also.........On my Accord, I replaced the stock head unit with an aftermarket because I wanted to use RCA pre-outs to hit the EQ..........sound was clean, but the aftermarket head unit need was avoidable I guess
Who makes good LLC's...........and roughly how much?
thanks, and sorry to bug u again,
JC

I used ordinary contact cement. Alone it might not have been able to hold it on, so I stapled it all around the back. So far after 5 months there is no hint of it separating from the wood anywhere.

Yep. One of my goals with the box was to make sure the seats would go all the way back and still be able to put the center arm rest up and down. Not sure about the shirts, but I can move the seat to its rear-most notch and lean the seat against the back wall and there is still 3/4" between the box and the seat back. If the sub wasn't mounted flush with the box surface or if it had a big grille over it, there might be some contact with the seat.

I used an AudioLink from Crutchfield. I think it was about $30. I mounted it as close as I could to the radio since it uses the speaker wires and they aren't shielded. Then I ran a high-quality (read "expensive") Monster audio cable back to the equalizer.
