Currently running a 100 watts/2ohm or 75 watts/4ohm per channel PDR-V75 Alpine amp. I now have blown through 2 sets of Image Dynamics 75 watts RMS/4ohm 5x7 speakers. Probably going to send them back and trade for something else. The company is going to give 75% credit toward another pair. I am looking at the Hertz HCX-130 5 1/4" coaxials. Any suggestions?

 

What do you have in the front? Have a sub? A lot of people don't even use rear speakers and if they do, it's just for rear fill. Coaxials will be fine for rear fill.
