Fox box doesn't come in a ported enclosure for a 2004 Supercab, at least that's what they told me when I called them, I think its only for the newer style trucks

Why ? running bridged full range 1 amp front. And bridged 1 amp for mid only rear .Independent the last 2 Mono Amps for each of the 2 subs. I will soon be adding a Kicker Front Row DSP and may run active plus time alignment for the front sound stage .And just have more control over the rear fill and or surround .

To me, it would have made more since to sell off the original amps and get two amps, one for the subs, one for the components. But that's just me I suppose. Also what do you have up front to be able to run full range and still hit the lows?

I figured part of that was for looks. It does look cool, especially with that double 0 or whatever coming out of the wall. I just couldn't mess with all the wires! That's why I'm not real inclined to amp my doors, even though I'd like to when I get some that can handle more power.

Yeah that's all That is 1x 0 gauge on top going in to a fused distribution box that displays amps and volts draw in blue LED with 4 x 4 gauge coming out of the bottom. To feed the amps .I did the up grade on my electrical system to keep up with the demand .

I'm surprised that one run of 1/0 can keep up with all those amps. What are those amps rated at?

A HQ 1/0 like the Kolossus Fleks Kable I ran can handle over 300 amps about 320 max I would say . And I am only pushing about 230 amp range I have never seen my voltage very rarely drop below 14.2 volts. No matter what I throw at it I haven't even blown a fuse in 5 years

Thanks in part to my Odyssey Battery the big 4 and a 230amp H.O alternator . And my gains set properly. Alpine MRP amp lines are pretty efficient as well . At one time

I was running 2x MRP-M1000 and the 2x MRP-F300 4 ch . and it could keep up with that. I only down sized cause theirs no need for 2000 watts for truck subs .

You have some great electrical to back it up, so that definitely helps. Are you running dual or single batteries?

Just one. odyssey PC1750/65 AGM is a beast of a battery. Fast discharge and recovery. I never would run my system with out the truck running .So I just don't see the need for 2 batteries. .................................................. .................... The days of sitting at the park with my windows down blaring the Jensen tri axle's with the Kraco power booster with my GF mixxtape . Waxing the car with it turned off . Are long gone. LOL You young guys would not remember that gear back in the day .You would run your power and ground wire in 22 gauge to tap a fuse lol If you wanted some kind of sub you hooked up your parents 2 way HI-FI home speaker with a giant 15 inch paper cone speaker and walnut enclosure. And tossed it in your back seat . Trunks where for beer coolers and kegs only !!
