Need help with speakers

I have a 97 ford f150 and I was taking out the factory radio to install a pioneer that I received for Christmas and in the process 2 wires broke off of the factory wire harness so I cut them and was going to just hardwire everything in but now the speaker wires are not working. I was told that it locked something up that the speaker wires hooked up to before they go to the radio but I'm not sure and I don't want to have to pay a buttload of money.

Not to sure what you did. But a good way to start is to test what speaker wires are working and which ones aren't. Either by hooking speakers up to test them or use a meter.

You could also look up the wire codes for your specific truck, and find out what wires you broke.

I got a meter and I'm gonna ohm all the wires tomorrow and figure out which ones are the speaker wires
