I have the Focal 165VB's in front doors with tweeter mounted high on doors in the area where the vent is...They sound great..

 

Do you have pics of where you mounted the tweeter? I'm looking to eventually do a component set and trying to fogurevout where to mount the tweeter.

Between those I personally would choose the ID. The Focal has a very nice midrange but a pretty bright tweeter (typical of hard dome drivers), the Infinitys are lower quality all around. ID XS have a super smooth midrange and well blended soft dome tweeter.
