Adjusting factory amp?

Is there any way to adjust the factory amp? I have not dug down to it to look, figured someone else might know...? Also is there another sub that you can just plug and play with? Would be nice to be able to put a better one in it, maybe even change the box... Any ideas?

there is no way to adjust the factory amps but ive seen a harness that allows you to hook up an aftermarket amp to the stock wiring and on the "another sub" question there might be a way to replace it but it will be hard but you cant add another without adding another amp.
and on the "different box"question you will have to find a box that fits the sub and fits under the seat and find a way to wire it other than that good luck trying

To my knowledge, the 2012's have the factory amp under the console. If you are looking for a little better bass, you could probably cut the plug off the current sub, and wire into your own sub and box. I think the biggest limitation with the factory sub is the crappy box it comes in. There is no air space in the box. This is what I am thinking of doing. This way it just sits under the seat, and I can remove it quickly if I need to. I actually just took the factory sub out of mine tonight because I needed room for 2 kids and a german shepherd...lol
