Going to pull the trigger on a '12 FX4. Debating the Sony headunit versus the standard unit. How much floor space will I use if I go with the Sony unit with subwoofer? I need the flat floor in the supercrew for dog crates, etc., ad want to know if that sub is going to get in the way.

 

Never mind...found a truck that had the sub and it's not going to work for me.

 

In reference to this problem, does anyone know if Ford is going to fix this for 2013?

I think it is a bit ridiculous that Ford brags about the industry leading space with the back seats folded. But if you upgrade and get a higher trim level or better radio, the sub is now in your way.
