Looking for a complete system for a 12 supercab

Hello everyone. I have a 2012 supercab and the radio sounds horrible. It must be the base unit. I would like to change everything from the head unit, front and rear door speakers, add a sub and install a amp or 2. For the head unit I wanted a touch screen with DVD and navigation. Would like some good door speakers, I had Boston pros in my last truck that sounded awesome. I don't know if there's something comparable to them. I also looked at the super crew website and saw there single and dual subwoofer boxes, not sure if thats the way to go or build my own. and pick which speakers to buy for it. I like bass but are not going into a show so a single sub would probably be fine. Super crew does have a mtx box with speaker with it but not sure if there good or not. Then at the end I need an amp or 2 to power it all. I will install it all myself since I did my other truck. I guess my price range is about $2500. Just trying to see what you guys think I should get for the price range.

Dunno what to tell u as Im doing the same thing for my 09 scab, I'm replacing the front and rear with infinity 8602's myself and then paying a local place to do the 2 10's with enclosure and amp with install keeping my budget around 800 total is gonna be like 1k for everything. 2500 is a lot lol, then again I don't want to spend that much.

Or do some research on what areas you'd like to spend your money in and what type of setup your going for whether it be sq, all out bass, etc.

For $2500 you can do an awsome system....thats about where im at $$ wise...I did install most of my stuff so i saved alittle there...I replaced headunit with a pioneer 4200dvd with nav. and sirrus...replaced all doors speakers with focal component speakers..(seperate tweeters on all 4 doors)..165 vb in front and 130a1 in rear...under rear seat i have 2 RE SEX 10d4s in a foxacustics (foxbox) downfire ported enclosure...also have 3 amps (7 channels) and an MS8 processor..added a kinetics battery in parallel with starting battery also....Got alot of info from diyma.com and other sites like that....purshased most everything online...sonicelectronics and crutchfield with some ebay mixed in....good luck with your system...
