Installing a component system in my 2012 and am unsure on how to connect the crossover in the door to the new tweeter in the A pillar. I thought I could feed the wire threw the rubber boot in the door but it's a modular plug? Any help on getting my wiring from the door to the tweeter?

 

I was looking at this the other day.....
Are you sure that it is a "Plug" on the cab side of that connection? I thought it was just a plug looking piece that held it to the cab and it was not actually a plug.

Anyhow, I guess the next best thing would be to drill a new hole in the inside of the door and the cab just above the plug....use gromets and some wire loom and fabricate your own

 

Yes when you remove the locking latch it pulls away and it's integrated to the cab side inside*a*plastic housing. Hate to say it but I may take it to best buy and have them deal with it..... The bad part is I already put the new tweeter in the A pillar so putting the tweeter in the door is no longer an option without replacing the A pillar since I modified it to hold the infinity tweeter. Anybody have any suggestions.
