audio install

Im gonna drop this here because it gets a lot of hits... Just got a 2012 F150 5.0 and im dumping the factory audio system.. Cant deal with it. I dont have a problem with the install, but i do have a VERY BIG problem with the dash kit... Its glossy black, and matches NOTHING interior wise... What i have is the Ingot Silver model with a darker charcoal and lighter grayish 2 tone interior color scheme that is matte, not shinny at all. So im reaching out to you guy for ideas on re finishing the sorry lookin dash kit. I want it to look professional as can be seeing as i dont evenn have 300 miles her yet. Heres a pic of the kit. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated... Im even open to picking up the red color on the STX emblem similar to a raptor dash..

Your local auto parts store should have some stuff called "Interior Vinyl Paint" with a flat black no shine color. I'd use that, but be sure to wipe it down with alcohol before hand and use rubber gloves to not get any grease on it. Some primer first might help, but I have never really done any interior painting except a few small pieces.

If that does not work, then wrap it in some Carbon fiber wrap that you can get off ebay, that should look pretty nice! a few Mustang guys have done their whole dash with it and I did some exterior stuff with it, looks great!
