Can anyone tell me what actually comprises the Sony Navigation Radio with Sony single cd player. How many/what size and type speakers? What power? Power from amp or head unit? Power for stock sub? What is stock sub? I can't find this anywhere on Ford site and it's a $2,495.00 upgrade.

 

This is what I know. The speaker in the front are 6X8 component speaker with the tweeter in the pillar. The back are 6x8 not sure if they are 2 way. The sub is 8" all driven by a 700 watt amp. I don't know who the amp is broken out (how many amps for the sub and the doors). I'm not sure about the ohm rating. I'm trying to figure this out as I'm going to upgrade the Sony speaker to Polk's, I think. I did put polyfill in the sub enclosure and I did make a difference. I looking for some sharper mids and hi's for the system without spending a boat load of money.

The last truck I had I put a new system in it and then sold the truck. That was stupid.
