Killer box! How did you flatten the metal part of the seat? sledge hammer? I'm going to rebuild my box for the BMs this spring since it sticks out maybe 1.5" from the seat, and I think doing that to the seat will allow me to fit the 12s without any part of the box sticking out.

No sledge hammer, actually body weight. Step on the seat support with both feet, gently rock back and forth until the two small tack welds in the front break free and this will allow you to flatten the support out. Put a little bit of closed cell sponge between the tube frame & seat support, reattach with a couple of self tapping screws.

Had a little bit of time to play around with the EQ this past week, I must say these subs are sounding better & better every day.

That is nice man. I'd sell boxes if I had that kind of skill.

2006 F150 is sold. So I am selling the subwoofer box since it will not fit in the new truck. This would be for local pick up only in the Bakersfield, Ca area, shoot me some offers if anyone is interested.

Box & subs are sold!

Modified the box to fit under the rear seat of a 2007 F150 SuperCab without modifying the seats.

Went from this:

To this:

Removed the standard full size subs:

Added the shallow mounts:

Finished project turned out nice and still sounded awesome for a couple of shallow mount subs in a sealed enclosure. Customer is very pleased with the sound.
