08 SCrew sub and box

I've had my SCrew since July of 08 and I love it. I put a Pioneer AVH-4100DVD in it later that year and it has served me well. I'll upgrade one day but thats down the road.

Now I've finally gotten to where I can wait no longer on getting some good bass in the truck. I picked up a pair of subs from a friend. I paid 20 bucks for the pair. They are Eclipse 86100.4.

Now I was going to get the fox acoustics box because it was so highly recommended back in 08 and 09 but now I'm seeing a lot of people who have had problems. I really don't want to deal with a crappy box.

So the SuperCrewSounds box is the next option. However, I can't find the specs for these subs online (and I don't have them where I can measure at the moment) and so I'm not sure if the box will work for them.

Am I SOL with these subs (they look deep) or do you guys think the SCS box will work?

Thanks

The box i just got from Foxbox is freekin' awsome...its the new 09 ported box.......looks nice and seems very well built.......i installed 2-RE-SEX 10d4s and it pounds on a RE XtX 3000.1 amp @ 1 ohm......had to cut holes 1/16th bigger.. and remove magnet covers from subs to fit them into the Foxbox...If your subs are less than 6 1/2'' they will fit depth wise......

Howdy, neighbor lol I live in Byhalia and work out of OB.

Have you looked into a strong box or something small enough to be unbotrusive to hauling stuff in the bed, but that will still keep the jack/etc. safe from the elements and theives? You might want to try TSC or Northern Tool--I bet they would have something that might fix you right up.
